InOur Communities Texas FOCs Deliver Ida Relief Reliance companies across Texas – EMJ, Fox Metals, Precision Flamecutting & Steel, and Team REX – made an extraordinary and coordinated effort to collect and deliver critical supplies to our Louisiana locations impacted by Hurricane Ida. All groups mobilized quickly – in about three days, they sent two truckloads of supplies!

"It really was quite a haul!" said Adam Morse, GM at EMJ Houston/Lafayette. "I was so happy to see our company pitching in to help those in need!"

Brett Rutledge, VP & COO, shared with his Fox Metals Family, "I couldn’t be more proud about the outpouring of kindness and generosity you displayed in this relief drive following Hurricane Ida. We are going to send a LOT of much needed supplies and materials to people that very much need them right now. I hope this puts a huge smile on your face. You totally stepped up and delivered!"

Reliance Cares also issued over 80 Immediate Response Program grants. This is what Family is all about. We're here for each other.

Beating the Texas Heat While the weather is finally starting to show signs of fall, it's hard to forget what an especially hot summer it was. Our colleagues at Reliance Metalcenter in Arlington, Texas (DIV06) decided to show the team their appreciation by organizing a snow cone mobile to come onsite.

When Office Manager Martha Hernandez shared the news, a few folks had big smiles on their faces. "Really? You're going to do that for us?"

"Yes," she replied. "Y'all deserve it working in this Texas heat!

What a simple and FUN way to stay cool and take a break, and bring out a smile in everyone. Snow cones FTW!
