A NEW Wellness Program Year Begins January 2022! We believe that when you’re at your best, you can be your best for others, too, and make fun and positive contributions to our company and our communities. One way to invest in becoming your best self is through healthy living. And we believe that wellness@reliance can help you get there. The wellness@reliance program is open to all U.S. employees of Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. and its subsidiaries, and their spouse/domestic partner who is enrolled in a Reliance Rewards medical plan. Participation is completely voluntary. Reliance is partnering with WebMD (formerly StayWell), an independent wellbeing company, who will provide administration and program support for wellness@reliance. Wellness Bonus Reliance will pay a $150 quarterly Wellness Bonus to employees and their spouse/domestic partner enrolled in a Reliance Rewards medical plan who participate in and achieve certain wellness@reliance targets. Bonuses will be processed via company payroll shortly after the end of each quarter. Only those who are enrolled in a Reliance Rewards medical plan on the last day of each calendar quarter and are employed by Reliance when bonuses are paid are eligible to receive the Wellness Bonus. When an incentive-eligible Reliance employee and their incentive-eligible spouse/domestic partner both participate, the employee can receive up to $1,200 in Wellness Bonuses annually. If you and your spouse/domestic partner participate in wellness@reliance, the Wellness Bonus can be considered a way of reducing the effective cost of your medical coverage. Don’t leave money on the table by not participating in this program and taking advantage of this valuable benefit!
Sign Up for Your New Wellness Account Reliance’s partnership with WebMD will give you access to tools to help you reach your personal health and wellbeing goals. This includes an all-new website and mobile app! Sign up for your new account on or after January 4, 2022 by going to wellnessatreliance.com or downloading the WebMD Wellness At Your Side™ (WAYS) app to your tablet or mobile device.
How the Plan Works The plan promotes year-round engagement on a calendar year basis continuing with the "Gateway + 10 + 10 + 10" design. Complete your Gateway Activities (Wellness Questionnaire and Biometric Screening) by the end of the first calendar quarter to earn your first Wellness Bonus. Then earn 10 Wellness Activity Points in each of the second, third, and fourth quarters (10 + 10 + 10) to earn subsequent Wellness Bonuses. If you miss one quarter’s target, you can easily jump back into the program and earn the next Wellness Bonus during the next quarter. Just remember to always complete your Gateway Activities first.
